AFTERNOON ANNOUNCEMENT The first poinsettia delivery will be here tomorrow (Thurs Nov 20) in Sisson gym. All A cappella students who have orders for NOVEMBER 26th will need to pick up their poinsettias tomorrow. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Burdette.
Attention All Southwest Chorus students:
Please remember to bring your student contract signed tomorrow to Mr. Burdette. These are needed before you can participate in the rehearsal tomorrow night. If you need a copy, either come to the chorus room or download it from Mr. Burdette's Blog.

AFTERNOON ANNOUNCEMENT The final round of the spelling bee will be tomorrow during homeroom. 7th and 8th grade teachers are invited to bring their homerooms to observe. The students who are participating in the bee need to get to the auditorium quickly so that we have time to complete the bee during homeroom.

Football Tickets The athletic office is pre-selling tickets to the football game. TICKETS ARE $10. For each ticket we sell, Harding gets to keep a portion of the proceeds!

TSSAA Tickets We just got the TSSAA tickets in and the price is more that we had originally thought. The tickets are $10 to attend the game. Those who have already signed up for the spirit bus, please bring three extra dollars to Mrs. Cancienne in the athletic office. If you decide that you do not want to go, see Mrs. Cancienne in the athletic office to get your money refunded.
The game starts at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

French Club Movie Night There will be a French club movie night Friday, 21 November. For more information, please see Mr. Denzin or any of the French club officers.


Bible Club Bible club members can bring your Christmas present or money to Dr. Fowler or any Bible club leader any day this week.

Spirit Day Monday, November 24, will be a Spirit Day. Note that it is also Alumni Chapel Day, a day when we will have a number of guests on our campus.
You can participate in Spirit Day by wearing a Harding Academy shirt. That means that You may wear your new Highlander T-shirt or another Harding t-shirt, sweatshirt, or sweater. You MAY wear a HARDING ACADEMY hoodie this day as well (you just cannot wear the hood up).
Tshirts, jackets and hoodies are available for sale in our development office.
If you choose not to participate in Spirit Day, you will wear your normal uniform.
Jeans in good repair are okay. Uniform shoes are not required (flip flops are okay), untucked shirts are okay, socks are not required.
Note: This is not a costume day. We will look like normal people, even if we are not wearing uniforms.
Weird stuff like caps/hats, boxers, house shoes, wings, horns, shorts, antennae, sweatpants, spurs, pajama pants, snorkels, face or hair paint, roller skates, balloons, fins, bizarre makeup, Mardi Gras beads, stilts, clown shoes, fright wigs, spears, masks, chaps, mouse ears, bunny slippers, boustierres, tuxedos, swimsuits, umbrellas, skate boards, knickers-------and the such like----are not okay.

Seniors - check your scholarship and admission deadlines. If you have a December 1 deadline, Mrs. Stevens needs it this week.
Remember, we are not in school next Tuesday and the Monday we return is Dec. 1.


Class of 2011 The Class of 2011 will have a devo at Trey Stafford's house Saturday at 6:00. If you are a Sophomore and NOT in Mr. Efaw's Bible Class, be sure to stop by and let him know if you're coming. You'll get details from him on what you need to bring.

NJHS All National Junior Honor Society students need to pick up a field trip form today in the library. These forms need to be signed by teachers in periods 2-4 and returned before the Thanksgiving break.

Spirit Bus There will be no school next Tuesday, Nov 25. We will only have one day of classes next week: Monday. Monday will be spirit day.
Harding will take one or two spirit buses to Murfreesboro on Tuesday for the state championship football game. If you are interested, you will have to complete a permission slip and turn in $20 ($10 for the bus and $10 for the game) no later than noon this Friday. Information sheets and permission slips are available now in the office of the dean of students.
THE BUSES WILL PROBABLY FILL UP QUICKLY, AND THEY WILL BE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.
Completed forms and money need to be turned in to the Athletic Office.
